Still Life provides custom handcrafted pieces, thanks to its onsite seamstress. With the recent addition of a factory in Brooklyn, the Still Life Reserve, each product is perfectly made from sketch to finish.

Stylish hats, for both men and women, are made on vintage blocks in the Brooklyn factory and overseen in the final process by the seamstress in the flagship store.

In the Still Life online store hats are accompanied by useful information, like which hat looks best on different faces. For instance, those with a thin to medium full face will want to check out the DB Cooper, a uniquely shaped take on the classic fedora. While the online version is black suede felt with a trim made of deep purple satin, the hat can be customized using Still Life’s wide assortment of felts and trim fabrics. This customization feature, which is available on any hat, is what makes Still Life so special.

A recent feather in the Still Life cap is the introduction of Still Life for Marc Jacobs, a line of carefully crafted panama hats, perfect for summer weather and available for a limited time in Marc Jacobs boutiques.
